So you commoners need to work for your money and save it to reach the end of the month. Not so much for celebs. For them it’s the more, the merrier. Especially when it comes to showing off their assets! Enter engagement rings. But who has the most expensive rock around her finger?

What can we say, a normal person can only dream about these rings. En it’s mainly because of the diamonds that are in the upcoming rings. By the way, the top ten included a bunch of couples that are no longer together. That’s the way it goes in showbiz, right? But it is typical how it proves certain points. For example, Prince Charles paid much less for the ring he got Princess Diana than he did for the ring he gave to Camilla Parker Bowles. On the other hand, Ben Affleck paid much more when he got Jennifer Lopez a ring, than he did when he bought one for Jennifer Garner (and they are still very happy together). My love don’t cost a thing?

Both things happened. Paris and Paris are no longer together, but they were actually engaged for a while. And how! With a 4.7 million dollar ring, that’s how. But the most expensive couple of Hollywood is still together. The number one in the list is without a doubt Beyonce. The engagement ring she got from Jay-Z is the most expensive one in celebrity land, with a value of no less than 5 million dollars. Lorraine Schwartz designed the 18 carat white diamond in Beyonce’s ring…. Love does have a price after all!

Well, good luck. Because when you’re expecting a proposal, you can stop dreaming about the rings above. But hey, at least you’ll be saving money for a cool party and a pretty dress and all! Your day should be priceless, not the reason why go went bankrupt. Of course you can help faith a little by hinting to your man what kind of ring you’d like… as long as you don’t forget that money isn’t everything. You’ll need it for a lot of stuff, but don’t see it as the main factor in your marriage (and therefore wedding ring). Keep it nice and simple, and if you still want to go for a 5 million rock, good luck finding yourself a Jay-Z!
